This project utilized a 6KVA rack-mount online UPS, installed directly into a standard 19-inch rack and configured with a 192VDC external battery system.
During normal operation, the UPS continuously provides stable power to the servers and network equipment. When the utility power fails, the UPS immediately switches to battery power mode, ensuring that the servers and network equipment continue to operate normally. IT administrators can use the backup time to save data, check server status, and perform a safe shutdown if necessary.
The rack-mounted design also makes efficient use of vertical cabinet space, eliminating the need for separate floor space, making it ideal for server rooms with limited space.
