Transformer Characteristics
SG and SBK three-phase dry-type transformers feature a core and windings that are not immersed in insulating liquid medium (transformer oil). Instead, they are directly exposed to air, relying on natural convection for heat dissipation.
The SG-type three-phase dry-type rectifier transformer is a crucial component in rectifier equipment (classified as a dry-type transformer). It forms rectifier circuit systems when combined with various rectifier devices. To convert alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC), the rectifier transformer first transforms the voltage from the AC grid into a voltage of a specific magnitude and phase number. This transformed voltage then passes through the rectifier device (rectifier) before being output to DC traction equipment.
