This automotive exhaust grade 430 stainless steel coil is a ferritic chromium alloy cold rolled strip specifically developed for the harsh thermal and corrosive environment of vehicle exhaust systems. With chromium content between 16.00-18.00% and a fully ferritic microstructure, the material delivers dependable oxidation resistance at elevated operating temperatures while maintaining excellent formability for deep drawn muffler shells, resonator bodies, and exhaust pipe blanks.
Every coil is produced from Baosteel or TISCO certified base metal and shipped with a complete Mill Test Certificate, allowing fabricators to verify chemical composition, mechanical values, and traceability before the strip enters their production line.
The 430 grade is widely recognized in the automotive supply chain as a cost-effective alternative to austenitic grades for non-structural exhaust components, offering strong scaling resistance, low thermal expansion, and good fatigue behavior under vibration.

Packaging & Quality Assurance
Each coil is protected with anti-rust oil, wrapped in waterproof kraft paper and plastic film, secured with steel strapping, and packed on fumigated wooden pallets or export crates to withstand long ocean freight.
Full inspection documentation includes Mill Test Certificate, dimensional report, and surface quality record. The production line operates under ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 quality systems, with third-party inspection (SGS) available before shipment.
Engineering support is provided for grade selection, slitting layout advice, and welding parameter guidance to maximize yield in every exhaust component program.
