What is a hydraulic tailgate?
A Liftgate, which can also be referred to as a Tail lift, is a mechanical device which is installed permanently at the back or the rear end of a large vehicle like a truck, a lorry or a van. It is used to load and unload freight from the ground and into the back of the truck.
Tail lifts make it much easier to safely load and unload trucks and are synonymous with cost efficiency, flexibility and a high level of operating comfort for users.
Using a tail lift can make it unnecessary to use machinery such as a forklift truck to load heavy items on to a vehicle. A tail lift can also bridge the difference in height between a loading dock and the vehicle load bed.
