Due to the needs of the environment, it is necessary to use MPO optical fiber jumpers for optical cables that are more difficult to be damaged, and more sturdy optical cables are required, and armored optical cables are often chosen.
MPO/MTP fiber jumper armored cables are mostly 8-core, 12-core, and 24-core. The armored cable provided by our company is generally a mini-optical cable with an outer diameter of 3.0mm, which is used for 8-12 cores and an outer diameter of 5.5. mm is suitable for 24 core MPO/MTP jumpers.
Due to the existence of a layer of spiral steel wire in the armored optical cable, it is not recommended to make the 24-core armored optical cable with an outer diameter of 3.0mm, because the outer diameter is too small and there are problems such as easy bending of the optical fiber, and the reliability is reduced.
