Product Overview
The TKQ-DAC4A-3492Cx QSFP+ to 4 SFP+ Copper Cable Assembly provides IT professionals with a cost-effective interconnect solution for merging 40G QSFP and 10G SFP+ enabled host adapters, switches, and servers.
This splitter cable connects an available QSFP port on a 40Gb/s rated switch to feed up to four upstream 10GbE-SFP+ enabled switches. Each cable features a single QSFP connector (SFF-8436) rated for 40Gb/s on one end and four SFP+ connectors (SFF-8431), each rated for 10Gb/s, on the other end.
QSFP+ copper direct-attach cables are ideal for short-distance connections and offer a highly cost-effective way to establish 40-Gigabit links between QSFP+ ports within racks and across adjacent racks. These cables support 40GbE and InfiniBand standards to maximize performance in data center and high-performance computing applications.
