Product Overview
The GYFXTB8Y flat indoor/outdoor optical drop cable is a versatile, high-performance access solution designed for FTTH/FTTx networks requiring both aerial and duct installation flexibility. Featuring a center loose tube construction, this cable houses optical fibers within a high-modulus plastic tube filled with a water-blocking compound for reliable moisture protection.
Two glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) strength members are placed in parallel within the cable structure, providing excellent tensile strength and crush resistance while maintaining flexibility for easy routing. The polyethylene (PE) outer sheath ensures robust protection against UV exposure, moisture, and mechanical stress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
