How It Works
Traditional fiber-to-chip coupling requires separate alignment of fibers and lenses. This integrated FAU with lens array combines both into a single, pre-aligned assembly. The lens array focuses the optical signal from each fiber to the corresponding waveguide on the photonic integrated circuit (PIC), maximizing coupling efficiency while minimizing assembly complexity.
