Product Overview
The MTP-16CH-FA is a precision fiber array assembly designed for internal optical coupling in high-speed optical transceivers (400G/800G) and CPO/OCS applications. It features an MTP/MPO connector input (containing an MT ferrule) and a 16-channel V-groove fiber array output, enabling efficient light transmission between external fiber networks and photonic integrated circuits (PICs).

How It Works
The MTP-16CH-FA receives parallel optical signals from an MTP/MPO connector (plugged into the module's external interface), then routes the signals through precisely aligned fibers to the 16-channel V-groove output array. This output array is positioned directly against the photonic integrated circuit (PIC) or PD array inside the optical module, enabling efficient optical coupling with minimal loss.
