The 16-core MTP/MPO fiber optic adapter is a high-precision, passive interconnection device designed to facilitate reliable connections between multi-fiber MTP/MPO connectors. It bridges fiber optic cables or links cables to active equipment, playing a pivotal role in optimizing light energy transfer from a 16-core transmitting fiber to a corresponding 16-core receiving fiber - significantly enhancing optical signal transmission efficiency in high-density environments.
This adapter features a precision-molded MT ferrule alignment sleeve and high-accuracy guide pin holes, ensuring exact physical contact between connector end-faces with micron-level precision. This precision alignment minimizes insertion loss and ensures consistent optical performance across repeated mating cycles.

This RoHS compliant adapter features rectangular overall structure and easy snap-in spring clip, with dust cap protection, guaranteeing safety in use and no need of extra tools during installation.
