Product Overview
The MT-2FA is a precision fiber array assembly designed for internal optical coupling in high-speed optical transceivers (400G/800G). It features an MT ferrule input and a V-groove fiber array output, enabling efficient light transmission between laser diodes (LDs), photodetectors (PDs), and optical fibers.
The MT-2FA receives parallel optical signals from an MT ferrule (connected to an external fiber harness or backplane), then routes the signals through precisely aligned fibers to the V-groove output array. This output array is positioned directly against the laser or photodetector array inside the optical module, enabling efficient optical coupling with minimal loss.
