Product Overview
The Mini 100M Media Converter is a compact Fast Ethernet fiber optic transceiver featuring a 10/100M Ethernet port and a 155M optical port. It enables bidirectional conversion between 10/100Base-TX twisted-pair electrical signals and long-distance 100Base-FX optical signals.
By converting copper signals to fiber optics, this media converter extends the network transmission distance from the 100-meter limitation of copper cabling to up to 100 kilometers.
