Product Description: ASTM A182 F304L Tube Sheet
Tube sheet is one of the most critical components of shell-and-tube heat exchangers and condensers. It is used to firmly fix heat exchanger tubes inside tube bundles, bear mechanical loads, and achieve airtight separation between the tube side and shell side.
The offered tube sheets are manufactured from high-quality austenitic stainless steel ASTM A182 F304L. Its low carbon content (L stands for Low Carbon) endows the material with excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding, which is essential for equipment operating in harsh corrosive environments and subjected to thermal treatment during production.

The adoption of ASME SA182 F304L tube sheets brings multiple technical advantages to end equipment such as shell-and-tube heat exchangers, heaters and coolers.
High corrosion resistance: The material resists salt aqueous solutions, organic acids, alkalis and atmospheric corrosion, extending the maintenance-free service life of equipment.
Excellent weldability: Due to its low carbon content, the tube sheet can be perfectly welded with sleeves or tubes without the risk of weld zone corrosion cracking. Post-weld annealing is not mandatory.
Good ductility and toughness: The austenitic steel structure delivers high low-temperature impact toughness, ideal for outdoor operation in winter conditions.
High-temperature strength: The product maintains stable mechanical properties under working temperatures up to 425°C.
Structural Designs & Customization
All products are supplied strictly in accordance with customers’ drawings or international standards including TEMA and ASME.
Hole types: Plain holes, holes with circumferential grooves for tube rolling joint.
Structure type: Solid type for fully welded equipment, split type for floating head exchangers.
Thickness & diameter: Manufacturing specifications are not limited to standard rolled materials. Heavy-thickness tube sheets can be produced from forged blanks.
Additional processing: Cladding anti-corrosion overlay on the shell side for service in severely corrosive media; CNC precision drilling to guarantee strict tolerance on hole diameter and pitch.
F304L Tube Sheets are widely used in food, chemical, petroleum and gas industries for equipment exposed to mildly corrosive media, effectively preventing corrosion debris from entering process fluid streams.
