Working Principle & Structure


Yuhong multi‑pass shell and tube heat exchangers adopt a fixed tube‑sheet or floating head structure, with a specially designed channel head and partition plates.

  • The tube‑side fluid is divided into several passes by the partition inside the channel head.
  • The fluid flows back and forth through the tube bundle multiple times, increasing flow velocity and heat transfer coefficient.
  • The shell‑side fluid flows across the tubes, guided by baffles to form ideal cross flow or mixed flow.
