Product Structure & Working Principle
Yuhong fixed tube-sheet heat exchangers consist of a cylindrical shell, tightly fixed tube sheets at both ends, a precisely arranged tube bundle, channel covers, and connecting nozzles. The tube bundle is securely expanded and welded to the tube sheets, ensuring excellent sealing and mechanical strength. One fluid flows inside the tubes (tube side), while the other fluid flows through the shell side around the tubes. Heat is efficiently transferred through the tube wall between the two media without direct mixing.
Due to the rigidly fixed tube-sheet design, this type of heat exchanger is especially suitable for relatively clean fluids, steady temperature conditions, and applications where thermal expansion differences are not extreme. For applications with larger temperature differences between shell and tube fluids, we can optionally integrate an expansion bellows on the shell to relieve thermal stress and extend service life.
