Product Overview
Our pressure vessel heads (also known as tank heads or dished ends) are critical load-bearing components designed to seal the ends of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. These heads ensure safe, reliable operation under demanding service conditions. All products are manufactured in strict compliance with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII Division 1), and are widely used in the petrochemical, power generation, nuclear, pharmaceutical, food processing, and boiler industries.

ASTM Specifications: ASTM A234, A105, A508, A515, A516, A240, SA240, and more (material grades selected based on design conditions and service requirements)

Head Types Available
We offer a full range of head geometries to meet various pressure ratings and application needs:
Ellipsoidal Head (2:1 Ratio) – The most economical and widely used design; provides excellent stress distribution with reduced metal thickness requirements
Torispherical Head (Dished Head) – Features a spherical crown with a knuckle radius; easier to fabricate, suitable for medium-pressure applications
Hemispherical Head – Ideal for high-pressure services; pressure is distributed evenly across the surface, offering the highest strength
Conical Head – Used for vessel bottoms requiring material discharge or for changes in flow direction
Flat Head – Available for low-pressure applications
Material Grades
We supply heads in a wide range of materials, all traceable with full mill test reports:
Specialty Materials: Titanium (Grade 1, 2, 7, 12 per ASTM B265), Nickel Alloys, and other custom materials available upon request
Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
Forming Processes: Hot stamping, cold stamping, spinning, and press forming – selected based on material, thickness, and dimensional requirements
Quality Control: Rigorous inspection from raw material verification through forming accuracy, dimensional inspection, NDT (Ultrasonic Testing, Penetrant Testing), and final dimensional checks
Certifications: Full material traceability, heat treatment records, and dimensional reports provided. Third-party inspection (e.g., TÜV, BV, SGS) available upon request
Surface Treatment: Shot blasting, pickling, or polishing as specifie
