UNS C70620 is a 90/10 copper-nickel alloy (90% copper - 10% nickel), optimized for welding applications and marine conditions based on the standard 90-10 copper-nickel alloy UNS C70600, with impurity control improvements.

The standard explicitly states: "Copper Alloys UNS Nos. C70620 and C71520 are for product intended for welding applications"—this is a core distinction between C70620 and the general-purpose C70600 material.
