Placement: The NTC temperature probe is positioned inside the electric kettle, typically in contact with the water. It may be integrated into the heating element or placed in close proximity to where the water is being heated.
Temperature Sensing: As the water temperature changes, the resistance of the 100K NTC thermistor also changes according to its negative temperature coefficient. The thermistor's resistance decreases as the temperature increases.
Wiring and Circuitry: The NTC thermistor is connected to the kettle's control circuitry, forming part of a voltage divider circuit. The change in resistance of the thermistor affects the voltage across the circuit, and this voltage variation is measured by the control system.

Calibration: Calibration ensures the accuracy of temperature readings. Manufacturers calibrate the NTC thermistor by comparing its resistance-temperature characteristics to known standards. This calibration allows the electric kettle to provide precise temperature control.
