Performance Characteristics
White granular or powder with density of 0.35-0.90 g/cm³ and melting point of 622°C
Easily soluble in water with alkaline aqueous solution (pH 9.7 for 1% solution)
Gradually hydrolyzes into phosphite in water with excellent metal ion complexation ability

Primary Functions in Water Treatment
Scale inhibitor: Chelates calcium and magnesium ions to prevent scaling in boilers and cooling systems
Corrosion inhibitor: Forms protective film on metal surfaces to slow corrosion
Dispersant: Prevents particle deposition in industrial circulating water and RO membrane pretreatment
