The metal glazed tile roll forming machine is a high-end cold-roll forming system characterized by advanced technology and complex processing capabilities within the field of architectural profiled sheet equipment. Breaking away from the flat, monotonous profiles of traditional color-coated steel tiles, this machine continuously processes metal coils—such as color-coated steel, Al-Zn alloy coated steel, or aluminum alloy—into premium glazed-style tiles. These tiles combine the three-dimensional aesthetic appeal of traditional clay glazed tiles with the durability of modern metal sheeting.
Core Structure and Working Principle
The equipment utilizes a three-stage composite processing method: "roll forming + hydraulic stepping (press molding) + profile shearing."
Continuous Roll Forming: The metal strip first passes through 16 to 22 stations of precision-machined, hard-chrome-plated rollers, where it is gradually cold-formed to create the primary longitudinal wave profile.
Hydraulic Stepping (Press Molding): A high-precision hydraulic die stamps downward at preset intervals (typically 200mm–400mm) to form a series of staggered, transverse "step" grooves. This creates a layered, tiered appearance that perfectly replicates the visual effect of overlapping traditional glazed tiles.
Hydraulic Profile Shearing: A profile-matching cutter—designed to fit the tile's contour exactly—performs a seamless, precision-length cut. The resulting edge is smooth and burr-free, ensuring tight, precise joints during on-site installation.
