| 1 | Slitting | Tinplate sheets are cut to the correct dimensions for body making. |
| 2 | Rounding | The flat sheets are shaped into cylinders for forming the can body. |
| 3 | Welding | Longitudinal seams are welded using a resistance welding machine. |
| 4 | Anti-rusted coating | Welded seams are mechanically indexed and aligned. |
| 5 | Expanding | The cylindrical body is reshaped into a rectangular form. |
| 6 | Top Flanging | The top edge is flanged outward for secure lid fitting. |
| 7 | Bottom Flanging | The bottom edge is also flanged for lid sealing. |
| 8 | Bottom Lid Seaming | The bottom lid is attached using a double seaming process. |
| 9 | Turn Over | Cans are flipped to prepare for top lid assembly. |
| 10 | Top Lid Seaming | A top lid or spout is seamed depending on can design. |
| 11 | Leak Testing | Cans are tested for air-tightness using a leak tester. |
