6,000N Push & Pull Manual Actuator for Solar Tracker Structures
The TOMUU U18 is a manual linear actuator for mechanical position adjustment in solar tracker structures. This configuration provides a rated push and pull load of 6,000N, with a 12,000N limit load and maximum static load up to 30,000N when fully retracted.
Rather than selecting the actuator only by the total weight of the solar modules, the required actuator load should be evaluated together with the mounting position, tracker geometry, stroke and installation dimensions.

Understanding the 6,000N Load Configuration
The three load values on this page describe different mechanical conditions. The 6,000N rated push and pull load is the primary working-load reference for actuator selection.
The 12,000N limit load represents a higher mechanical load condition and should not be treated as the normal operating load. When the actuator is fully retracted, its maximum static load can reach 30,000N.
How the 6000N Manual Configuration Works
This configuration uses manual mechanical adjustment rather than an integrated electric motor. With 2.1mm travel per revolution and operating torque of ≤9N·m, the actuator provides controlled movement for solar tracker structures within the corresponding load range.
The required movement depends on the tracker geometry. A longer stroke is not automatically the better choice: the stroke should match the actual angle adjustment range and mounting position of the structure.
Installation & Dimensions
The minimum installation dimension is based on Stroke + 250mm. Both the front and rear mounting ends use Ø14.2mm holes.
Before confirming the actuator configuration, please check the required stroke, retracted installation distance and mounting arrangement against the actual tracker structure.
6000N Manual Actuator in Solar Tracker Structures
In an actual solar tracker structure, the force acting on the actuator depends on the mounting position, working angle and mechanical linkage. For this reason, actuator selection should be based on the load acting on the actuator itself, rather than simply using the total weight of the solar modules or tracker structure.
