Temperature and Operating-Cycle Selection for CSP Projects
The U23D is a 24V DC heliostat actuator with a specified ambient temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. For desert CSP projects, selection should consider site temperature together with movement frequency, working load and installation position.

40,000N is the rated operating load; 55,000N is the maximum static load. The no-load speed range does not specify travel speed under working load.
Provide the travel needed for each tracking adjustment and any longer positioning movement. Required travel and speed determine movement time, which should be reviewed alongside rest periods and site temperature.
Use the heliostat drawing to confirm mounting points and stroke. A change in mounting geometry can change both travel and actuator load.
