Introduction:

Special AC uninterruptible power supplies for electric power systems include two categories: dedicated power UPS and INV. Neither is equipped with an independent battery pack; instead, they share the battery pack with the DC power supply and serve as one of the loads of the DC system. Among them, the dedicated power INV generally operates in "backup" mode, mainly supplying power to loads with low power quality requirements such as emergency lighting in substations. The dedicated power UPS differs from INV in that it is equipped with an additional rectifier and normally operates in "online" mode, mainly supplying power to critical loads with extremely high power quality requirements such as computer monitoring systems in substations.

Tonhe Technology Power-Specific UPS Panel is a next-generation AC uninterruptible power solution tailored specifically for power systems (power plants, substations). Strictly adhering to power industry standards, this product does not configure independent battery packs; instead, it connects directly as a load to the existing 220V/110V DC power system within the station, maximizing resource utilization and unifying maintenance.

The system offers two forms: Power-Specific UPS (Online) and Power-Specific INV (Standby), flexibly meeting the needs of different load levels: Power-Specific UPS: Adopts a "Rectifier + Inverter" double-conversion online architecture, providing pure and stable sine wave power for precision loads highly sensitive to power quality, such as computer monitoring, Remote Terminal Units (RTU), communication equipment, and relay protection. Power-Specific INV: Adopts an efficient standby architecture, specially designed for loads that require continuity but have relatively loose power quality requirements, such as emergency lighting and heating devices, offering economic efficiency.

2:Core Working Principle & Architecture
Online Mode UPS

Logic: Mains input is converted to DC via a high-frequency rectifier, paralleled with the station's DC bus, and supplied to a high-speed IGBT inverter, finally outputting pure AC power.

Zero-Delay Transfer: When mains power is abnormal or lost, the system is powered directly by the station's DC battery pack. A true 0ms zero-delay transfer is achieved between mains and DC inverter power, with no perception at the load end, ensuring no critical data loss and no malfunction of protection devices.

Standby Mode INV

Applicable Loads: Emergency Lighting, Maintenance Power, General Fans. Logic: Under normal conditions, power is supplied directly from the mains via the bypass (high efficiency, low loss); when mains power fails, the static switch rapidly transfers to DC inverter power.,Fast Response: The inverter-bypass transfer time is ≤4ms, fully meeting the continuity requirements for loads like emergency lighting, while significantly reducing system operating costs and heat generation.
