Workflow:
1. Crushing stage: The copper cables granulator machine first feeds the wires and cables into the crushing system. Here, they are subjected to strong mechanical forces, such as being crushed by rotating blades or hammers. This breaks the cables into smaller pieces for subsequent separation. For example, large-diameter cables are first cut into small segments and then further broken into particles with a diameter of several millimeters.
2. Separation stage: After crushing, the mixture of copper and plastic particles enters the separation system. Wind separation technology is usually used. The wind separator uses the difference in specific gravity between copper and plastic, and uses air flow to blow the lighter plastic particles to one side and the heavier copper particles to the other side to achieve preliminary separation. In some advanced models, electrostatic separation is also used. Due to the different electrical properties of copper and plastic, they are separated under the action of the electrostatic field.
3. Dust removal stage: Dust is generated during the crushing and separation process. The dust removal system consists of a dust collection fan and a dust collection bag, which inhales dust-laden air, collects dust in the dust collection bag after filtration, and discharges clean air into the atmosphere to meet environmental protection requirements.
