Introduction
The Screw Pump, also known as the Centrifuge feed pump, is speed - adjustable and can be paired with a decanter centrifuge. Its main components are the screw shaft (rotor) and the screw shaft bushing (stator). Fluids flow along the shaft. The inner flow speed is slow, ensuring a consistent capacity and stable pressure. As a result, no vortex or agitation is generated. The rated pressure at the pump outlet increases as the pump grade rises. Specifically, for each grade increase, the pressure rises by 0.6 MPa.
The rotor and stator are the vulnerable parts of this pump, but they are easy to replace. The stator is made of synthetic rubber material. When it comes to transferring fluids with high viscosity and hard suspended particles, this pump has distinct advantages over other pumps.
