Cylinder knowledge:

In order to facilitate the removal of the air trapped in the hydraulic cylinder, the oil is best to enter and discharge from the highest point of the hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic cylinders that require high movement stability are often equipped with exhaust plugs at both ends. Unscrew the exhaust plug before working to make the piston go back and forth several times without load during the full stroke, and the air can be discharged through the exhaust plug. After the air is exhausted, the exhaust plug needs to be tightened before working.

Industry knowledge:
The cavitation of the oil cylinder has a great influence. To avoid it, hydraulic oil must be used reasonably and the quality of the hydraulic oil must be guaranteed. If the oil has poor anti-foaming properties, it is easy to produce foam, which leads to cavitation. Secondly, if the frequency of oil pressure changes is too fast or too high, it will directly cause the formation of bubbles and accelerate the bursting speed of bubbles. Experiments have proved that the rate of cavitation in the parts with high frequency of pressure changes will increase. For example, the hydraulic cylinder inlet and return ports, etc., due to the relatively high frequency of pressure changes, the degree of cavitation is relatively higher than other parts. In addition, overheating of the oil will increase the probability of cavitation.
