Product Description
The starter motor refers to the starter motor of the car engine. It provides starting force during the starting process so that the engine can start running. The main function of the starter motor is to help the engine complete the starting process by rotating the crankshaft.
When you start your car, you turn the key or press a button, which activates a circuit that sends electricity to the starter motor. After the starter motor receives current, it generates rotational power and transmits the power to the engine's flywheel. The flywheel is connected to the crankshaft, and when the starter motor spins the flywheel, the engine starts running.
A starter motor usually uses a DC electric motor, which has enough torque and power to overcome the inertia of the engine and start it turning. Once the engine starts running, it produces enough power to keep itself running and continue to propel the vehicle.
It should be noted that the starter motor only works during the starting process. Once the engine starts, it will automatically disconnect from the engine. Therefore, the role of the starter motor is to help start the engine, not to continuously drive the vehicle.
