Titanium is an important structural metal developed in the 1950s. Titanium alloy has been widely used in various fields because of its high specific strength, good corrosion resistance and high heat resistance.Many countries in the world have realized the importance of titanium alloy materials, have been studied and developed, and has been applied in practice.Titanium is the Ⅳ class B element in the periodic table, the appearance of steel, melting point of 1672 ℃, is a refractory metal.
The α alloy contains a certain amount of elements with stable α phase and is mainly composed of α phase in equilibrium state.α alloys have small specific gravity, good thermal strength, good weldability and excellent corrosion resistance. Disadvantages are low strength at room temperature, and they are usually used as heat resistant and corrosion resistant materials.
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 3620.1. When repeated testing is required, the allowable deviation of the chemical composition shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-working bar and its allowable deviation shall conform to the provisions in Table 1.
3: After hot working, the allowable diameter deviation of the cold-drawn bar shall conform to the provisions in Table 2 after rolling (grinding) the polished bar and cold rolling.
4: after hot processing by the car (grinding) light bar of the roundness should not be greater than half of its size tolerance.
