The shearing kneading block from ADVS is a core functional component designed for twin-screw extrusion and pelletizing systems, specifically engineered to meet the high demands of plastic modification, mixing, and pelletizing processes. It delivers outstanding performance and durability.
Featuring a precision CNC-machined multi-tooth meshing profile, the block achieves tight intermeshing with its mating components. It delivers intense shearing and efficient dispersion within minimal clearances, ensuring thorough mixing of powders and melts in a short process zone, which significantly improves formulation uniformity and product quality stability.
Made from high-hardness alloy tool steel with integral quenching and surface hardening treatment, it offers exceptional wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and impact resistance. It maintains stable geometric accuracy and performance even in high-temperature, high-load continuous production environments, greatly extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.
The optimized tooth arrangement and flow channel design enhance shearing while ensuring smooth material conveyance, minimizing dead zones and material buildup. This enables effective self-cleaning, preventing material residue and degradation—ideal for processing heat-sensitive polymers, glass-fiber reinforced, and filled systems.
With a standard splined bore, it is fully compatible with mainstream twin-screw extruders (e.g., ZHP 480 series). It can be flexibly assembled into various mixing zones to meet the full range of process requirements from mixing and shearing to homogenization, adapting to diverse production formulas and parameters.
Produced via full-process precision machining and strict dimensional inspection, each block guarantees consistent tooth profile accuracy, concentricity, and fit clearance. This ensures stable production between batches, providing a reliable foundation for efficient, continuous manufacturing.
