Our 156-strand architecture solves this by redistributing the current across a vast total surface area provided by the fine filaments, drastically reducing AC resistance and heat generation.
Encapsulated in high-performance Polyimide (PI) film, this Litz wire maintains its superior electrical properties across an incredibly wide temperature spectrum, from extreme cold to intense heat. The PI taping process ensures a precise and uniform insulation layer that supports a minimum voltage resistance of 6000V. This allows for more compact transformer and inductor designs, as the high insulation rating reduces the need for additional spacing or bulky potting compounds. Whether it is implemented in On-Board Chargers (OBC), DC-DC converters, or wireless charging systems, this Litz wire provides the high-frequency efficiency required to push the boundaries of EV charging speeds and overall vehicle performance. By reducing thermal waste, it also contributes to the longevity of the surrounding electronic components.
