Description:
The typical application of scattering type ultrasonic nozzles is the photoresist coating on semiconductor chips, where the photoresist is sprayed onto the semiconductor chips. Due to the rotational scattering of mist emitted by the scattering type ultrasonic nozzle, a uniform photoresist film can be formed not only on the wafer plane, but also on the sidewalls and corners of the wafer microstructure. Ultrasonic spraying is a spraying technology that uses ultrasonic vibration to produce spray. The working principle can be summarized as follows:
Ultrasonic vibration generation: The ultrasonic spraying machine contains an ultrasonic generator inside, which generates high-frequency electrical signals. These electrical signals are converted into mechanical vibrations through transducers (also known as vibrators or transducers).
Working principle of transducers: Transducers are usually made of piezoelectric ceramic materials, such as piezoelectric crystals. When an electrical signal is applied to a piezoelectric material, it causes the material to shrink and expand, resulting in mechanical vibration.
1. Liquid spray formation: the transducer is connected to the liquid spray system, usually a nozzle or liquid reservoir. When the transducer vibrates, it transfers vibration energy to the liquid in the spraying system. This mechanical vibration acts on the liquid, generating intense liquid motion and shear forces.
2. Liquid shear and atomization: The violent movement and shear force of the liquid cause the formation of small droplets. These droplets are atomized in the spraying system and form spray.
3. Spraying process: the generated spray can be directionally sprayed onto the target surface through appropriate nozzles and spraying parameters. The size and distribution of spray particles can be controlled by adjusting the frequency, amplitude of ultrasonic vibration and spraying parameters.
In general, ultrasonic spraying uses ultrasonic vibration to generate a strong liquid shear force, which converts the liquid into tiny spray particles to achieve a fine and uniform spraying effect.
