The idler is cast using alkali phenolic resin sand or sodium silicate-bonded sand process. After heat treatment, surface hardness reaches minimum HRC48-58 with hardness depth between 4-6mm (HRC45). This enables the idler to withstand high impact and wear resistance under harsh working conditions.
Our idler is processed by CK5110 large-scale precision CNC vertical lathe, ensuring precise dimensions with high quality surface finishing. These manufacturing standards guarantee stability and extended service life.
The splined joint between the idler and shaft offers a larger bearing surface and improves torque transmission, boosting reliability and aligning the idler's lifespan with other undercarriage components. By rotating the shaft within fixed bushings, there is reduced contact stress and abrasion.
An extended crawler system lifespan leads to fewer change-out intervals, thereby minimizing employee exposure to safety hazards associated with system and component replacements.
