1. What is roller?

• As a vital component of belt conveyors, the roller comes in diverse types and large volumes, serving to support the conveyor belt and bear the weight of transported materials. It accounts for 35% of a belt conveyor’s total cost while contributing to over 70% of its total resistance—making its quality critically important. Rollers are primarily available in two materials: steel and plastic.

• For track rollers and carrier rollers, material selection—40Mn2, 40MnB, or 50Mn—is tailored to specific operating conditions. These rollers undergo precision forging followed by normalization, prior to full heat treatment: a rigorous process that achieves a surface hardness of HRC 52–56 and a hardened layer depth of over 7–10mm (with the core of the layer maintaining HRC 45). This engineering ensures exceptional durability, with high impact resistance and superior surface wear resistance at the rollers’ contact points—even under intense operational stress.

• Equipped with high-performance floating seals and a specialized lubrication system, our track and carrier rollers adapt seamlessly to varying climates and temperatures. They operate reliably in harsh working environments or extreme climates ranging from -45℃ to 120℃, all while ensuring maintenance-free performance for the components.
