Hammer union seals
Hammer union seals are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware. Hammer union consist of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomerical seal. The seal is lipped to prevent it from falling out when inverted.

Designed specifically for the rugged conditions of oilfields, these seals are engineered to fit within hammer unions-mechanical connections widely used to join drill pipes, wellheads and production lines.
