Material Comparison and Selection
1. Nitrile (NBR / Buna-N)
Best For: Standard oil and water service.
Advantages: Excellent abrasion resistance, cost-effective, good oil resistance.
Limitations: Poor resistance to high temperatures and harsh chemicals.
2. FKM ( Fluoroelastomer)
Best For: High-temperature and chemical-heavy environments.
Advantages: Superior heat resistance and excellent resistance to acids, fuels, and solvents.
Limitations: Not ideal for extreme low-temperature applications.
3. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile)
