Working Pressure Ratings

Material Selection and Temperature Ranges

NBR (Nitrile Rubber): Ideal for general water, oil, and mud service.
Operating Temperature: -30 degrees Celsius to +100 degrees Celsius (-22 F to +212 F).

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile): Recommended for high-pressure drilling, crude oil exposure, and environments containing H2S (Sour Gas).
Operating Temperature: -40 degrees Celsius to +150 degrees Celsius (-40 F to +302 F).

FKM (Fluorocarbon): Best for high-temperature applications and aggressive chemical processing.
Operating Temperature: -20 degrees Celsius to +200 degrees Celsius (-4 F to +392 F).

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene): Often used as a backup ring or in extreme chemical environments where elastomers may fail.
Operating Temperature: -200 degrees Celsius to +250 degrees Celsius.
