The SUMITOMO SH300 long reach configuration is a specialized machine built on the robust 30 ton SH300 platform with a custom extended arm assembly for applications requiring extraordinary working range. With a maximum reach exceeding 16 meters at ground level and digging depth capability beyond 11 meters, this machine is purpose-built for canal desilting, river dredging, water conservancy projects, deep foundation excavation, and environmental remediation work where the machine must remain on stable ground while working at distance.
The extended arm has been engineered with reinforced high-tensile steel plate construction and additional internal baffling to manage the increased bending moments and stress concentrations inherent in long reach configurations. Heavy-duty counterweight and wide track gauge ensure stable operation at full extension. The Isuzu 6HK1 engine at 184 kW provides the hydraulic flow needed to operate the large cylinders of the extended front attachment with adequate cycle speed.
This machine is ready for deployment in water management and environmental projects. Weld integrity has been verified across all critical joints on the extended arm.
