Working principle:

These DN400mm sealing closures—fabricated from either stainless steel or carbon steel—are purpose-built for end-sealing of PVC and PE pipes during internal pressure testing procedures. High-temperature resistant silicone seal rings are pre-installed within precision-machined seal grooves of the stainless steel or carbon steel closures; integrated metal compression rings on the closures then exert uniform compressive force on the silicone seal rings.

Under the applied pressure, the silicone O-rings undergo elastic deformation to fill the clearance between the closures and pipe ends, thereby forming a tight, leak-free seal that ensures the integrity of the pressure testing environment.

Structural composition:

This hydrostatic testing fixture comprises a semicircular base, O-shaped silicone rubber sealing ring, pressure ring, fastening clamp, fastening bolts, compression bolts, and vent valve.

Each component is engineered to work in tandem, with the sealing ring ensuring leak-proof connections and the vent valve facilitating air release to guarantee the accuracy of pressure testing data.
