These DN400mm sealing closures—fabricated from either stainless steel or carbon steel—are purpose-built for end-sealing of PVC and PE pipes during internal pressure testing procedures. High-temperature resistant silicone seal rings are pre-installed within precision-machined seal grooves to ensure reliable performance.
Integrated metal compression rings on the closures exert uniform compressive force on the silicone seal rings. Under applied pressure, the silicone O-rings undergo elastic deformation to fill the clearance between the closures and pipe ends, thereby forming a tight, leak-free seal that ensures the integrity of the pressure testing environment.
