The VCAS0065-1000-00A is a high-thrust rectangular voice coil motor with a peak thrust of 65 N, a continuous thrust of 22.4 N, and a long stroke of 100 mm. This product is specifically designed for micro-machines, precision grinding spindles, and heavy-duty positioning platforms that require high rigidity and direct drive.
This rectangular linear voice coil motor operates at a maximum voltage of 28.7 V and has a back-EMF constant of 9.7 V/m/s. The moving coil weighs 135 g, and the overall dimensions are 170 × 59.6 × 81.9 mm. Despite its powerful performance, its rectangular structure allows for integration into gantry or bridge-type XY systems without creating excessive installation height.
Traditional micro-machines rely on ball screws, but backlash and wear limit micron-level precision. The VCAS0065-1000-00A replaces rotary motors and screws with direct linear thrust, achieving higher bandwidth and zero backlash. The 100mm stroke is sufficient to meet the milling, engraving, or inspection scanning needs of small parts.
In semiconductor back-end-of-line (BEOL) equipment, such as bonding machines or trimming stations, the 65N thrust is sufficient for light cutting or probe testing while maintaining smooth operation. The 22.4N continuous thrust allows for sustained operation without overheating when equipped with appropriate heat dissipation.
In active vibration damping applications for heavy-duty equipment, this rectangular voice coil motor generates counteracting thrust to offset low-frequency disturbances. Furthermore, in precision mechanical simulations, the linear current-thrust relationship simplifies the control process.
