SUPT MOTION’s VCAS0002-0498-00A is a compact rectangular voice-coil linear motor designed for short-stroke, low-thrust precision positioning. This moving-coil actuator delivers a peak thrust of 2.1 N and a total stroke of 50 mm, providing smooth, cogging-free linear motion. It is ideal for optical focusing, micro-valve control, and light-load XY positioning applications. Its low moving mass (coil weight of only 15 g) ensures high dynamic response and low power consumption. With a maximum operating voltage of just 11.3 V, it is easy to integrate into sensitive electronic systems.
Unlike traditional screw or belt drives, the VCAS series eliminates backlash and mechanical wear, significantly improving service life and positioning repeatability. Its rectangular design is particularly well-suited for space-constrained XY-stacked applications in semiconductor inspection or laser alignment modules.
Whether used in laboratory automation, autofocus modules, or active vibration isolation systems, the rectangular voice coil linear motor delivers direct-drive reliability within a compact footprint.
