The SUPT MOTION VCAS0002-0747-00A linear voice coil actuator maintains a compact rectangular profile while featuring a lightweight voice coil, short response time, and high frequency. It features a stroke of 74.7 mm. With a peak thrust of 2.1 N and a continuous thrust of 1.3 N, this actuator is optimized for long-stroke, low-friction positioning applications in pick-and-place, semiconductor wafer handling, and precision measurement fixtures.
The moving-coil design eliminates magnetic attraction, resulting in extremely smooth motion without cogging effects.
In semiconductor inspection, long-stroke linear actuators are required to scan large chips or drive probes across wafers. The VCAS0002-0747-00A can directly replace air cylinders or lead screws, offering higher reliability and supporting closed-loop operation with linear encoders.
