The SUPT MOTION VCAB0105-0164-00A is a high-thrust shaft-type linear voice coil motor designed specifically for heavy-duty positioning, industrial automation, and robust actuator applications requiring high thrust. With a peak thrust of 105 N, this actuator delivers the power required for demanding tasks in manufacturing, packaging, and material handling.
The linear voice coil motor features a built-in motion shaft with precision linear bearings, ensuring smooth and precise guidance even under heavy-duty conditions. The moving shaft is manufactured from lightweight, high-rigidity, and wear-resistant materials to maintain stable performance during demanding duty cycles. It offers excellent force-velocity characteristics, enabling fast and controlled motion.
In industrial applications such as heavy-duty pallet positioning, mold handling, and large-part assembly, the VCAB0105-0164-00A delivers the thrust required to move heavy loads while maintaining precise position and force control.
Compared to hydraulic cylinders, this linear voice coil motor offers significant advantages: no hydraulic fluid leaks, no power unit required, programmable position and force control, cleaner operation, and lower maintenance. Compared to pneumatic cylinders, it provides superior position control, proportional force capability, quieter operation, and compatibility with closed-loop control for process monitoring and quality documentation.
The semi-enclosed shaft housing design protects internal components from dust, liquids, and other contaminants commonly found in industrial environments, while facilitating maintenance. The integrated precision bearing and shaft system eliminates the need for external linear guides, thereby reducing the equipment’s footprint and simplifying integration.
This actuator is also suitable for clamping heavy-duty workpieces, press-fit assembly of large components, and active vibration cancellation in heavy machinery. The 16.4 mm stroke accommodates typical part sizes and clearances, while the 105 N peak force handles interference fits and tight assembly tolerances.
