SUPT MOTION’s VCAR00025-0127-00A delivers a precise peak force of 2.55 N with a total stroke of 12.7 mm, making it an ideal choice for semiconductor wafer probe testing, precision height positioning, and small-part pick-and-place operations. With a moving coil weight of only 6.6 g, it enables high-speed stepping and stable response, which are critical for high-throughput testing.
This cylindrical voice coil motor has a maximum operating voltage of 11.6 V and can be easily integrated with standard industrial controllers. A back-EMF constant of 0.77 V/m/s ensures smooth speed control. With a stator diameter of 12.7 mm and a total length of 24 mm, this voice coil motor can be easily installed in compact probe card assemblies or multi-station test heads.
In semiconductor probe testing applications, maintaining a stable contact force is critical to preventing damage to precision pads or probes. The VCAR00025-0127-00A features a linear force-current relationship, enabling closed-loop force control without the stick-slip phenomenon commonly associated with pneumatic cylinders. Unlike ball screw actuators, this motor has no backlash, ensuring repeatable positioning accuracy at the micrometer level.
This voice coil motor excels particularly in active vibration isolation for precision measuring instruments, where its fast response capability effectively counteracts low-frequency disturbances.
