The steps to install a car air conditioning compressor are as follows:
1. Prepare the vehicle by securely parking it on a level surface and engaging the parking brake.

12. Reconnect the electrical connector and any other ancillary connections previously disconnected.
13. Install the drive belt onto the compressor pulley, ensuring it is properly aligned and under appropriate tension.
14. Reconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery and ensure it is securely attached.
15. Lower the vehicle from the jack stands and remove the hydraulic jack.
16. Perform an evacuation and recharge of the system, following the manufacturer's guidelines and using the appropriate amount of refrigerant.
17. Finally, test the system to ensure the compressor is functioning properly and there are no refrigerant leaks.
