The air conditioning compressor of Chevrolet Cruze varies in displacement. One type is the rotary compressor, which achieves compression and cooling through the rotational movement of the internal screw. Another type is the scroll compressor, which operates by means of blade propulsion.
Its working principle is as follows: The compressor sucks in the low-temperature and low-pressure gaseous refrigerant coming out of the evaporator. After compression, its temperature and pressure increase and it is sent to the condenser. Inside the condenser, the refrigerant transfers heat to the air outside the vehicle and liquefies into a liquid. After flowing through the throttling device, the temperature and pressure of the liquid refrigerant decrease. It then enters the evaporator to absorb the heat of the air inside the vehicle and evaporate into gas. Subsequently, it is sucked back into the compressor for a cycle, thereby achieving the cooling of the vehicle inside.
