1 . Descriptions:
Vibratory bowl feeders are widely used in industrial production environments and are recognized as the most versatile and commonly used parts-feeding systems for assembly line production. These self-contained mechanical devices have been in operation since the mid-20th century, valued for their resilience and efficiency.
The primary function of vibratory bowl feeders is to utilize vibration to align and feed small parts in production lines. This vibration is generated using electromagnets. The device converts the electromagnetically produced vibrations into mechanical vibrations, which are then captured and transferred to the conveying track located within the bowl. This track moves the components along, facilitating their entry into the production line.
A magnetic coil is positioned beneath the bowl, which is mounted on springs to restrict vertical movement. The coil is magnetized by an external power source, creating an electromagnetic actuation that generates vibrations. The movement of the bowl is constrained by the springs. Typically, 1 to 6 electromagnets are placed underneath the feeder base. Once the electromagnetic vibrations are converted into mechanical vibrations, the components and parts within the bowl feeder are propelled onto the bowl's conveying tracks, ready for further production.
