Product description
The spiral mixer is an efficient equipment for mixing powders and particles. Its structure mainly consists of a U-shaped container, spiral stirring blades and transmission components. Through a special spiral design, the equipment can form multi-directional material movement during operation, achieving rapid and uniform mixing effects. It is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, food, and feed, especially suitable for viscous, high-density or materials requiring gentle processing. The spiral mixer has the characteristics of high mixing uniformity, large loading coefficient, simple operation, easy cleaning and maintenance, and can adapt to various process requirements. It is a key mixing equipment in many production processes.
Working principle
The working principle of the helical mixer is based on its unique dual helical stirring structure. In the horizontal U-shaped mixing tank, usually there is an outer helical blade and an inner helical blade, which are driven by the same drive shaft but with opposite spiral directions.
When the main shaft rotates, the two spiral belts simultaneously push the material in opposite directions: the outer spiral belt pushes the material from both ends towards the center, while the inner spiral belt pushes the material from the center to both ends. At the intersection area of the two opposing flows, the materials interpenetrate, shear and diffuse with each other. At the same time, under the combined action of gravity, centrifugal force and the spiral blade vanes, the materials will also generate complex axial and radial circulatory convection. This strong macroscopic convection combined with microscopic diffusion and shear causes the materials to reach a highly uniform mixed state in a short time. The entire mixing process is gentle, with relatively little damage to the particle structure of the materials.
