V-Type Mixer
Product Description
The V-type mixer is a highly efficient and commonly used powder mixing equipment. Its main structure consists of two asymmetrical cylinders connected at a V-shaped angle. During operation, the V-shaped cylinder rotates around the central axis, causing the materials inside to constantly separate, diffuse and flow, thus achieving rapid and uniform mixing. This equipment is suitable for gentle mixing of dry materials such as powder and granules. It features short mixing time, high uniformity of mixing, easy cleaning and thorough discharge. It is widely used in industries such as food and chemical.
Working Principle
The working principle of the V-shaped mixer mainly relies on gravity diffusion and convection mixing. When the V-shaped container rotates around its central axis, the materials within the container, under the influence of gravity, continuously undergo separation, combination and flow as the container rotates. Specifically, during the rotation process, the materials converge and cross-mix from the top of the two arms of the V shape towards the bottom center, and then are lifted from the center to both ends, repeating this cycle. This periodic process of dispersion, combination and flow enables different components of the materials to continuously diffuse, intermingle and penetrate in three-dimensional space, thereby achieving macroscopic and microscopic uniform mixing within a relatively short period of time. The entire mixing process is gentle and has almost no intense shear force, making it suitable for fragile or materials that require gentle handling.
