The helical mixer is an efficient and widely used industrial mixing equipment. Its prominent feature lies in the unique helical-shaped stirring paddle. Working principle
The core working principle of the helical mixer is based on its unique dual helical stirrer design. Once started, the outer helical belt slowly pushes the materials from both ends of the mixing tank towards the central area; at the same time, the inner helical belt moves in the opposite direction, rapidly pushing the materials from the center to both ends. Thus, the materials form a combined circular motion in both the axial and radial directions within the mixing tank. Under the continuous action of convection, diffusion and shearing, even viscous and easily agglomerated materials can reach an ideal mixed state of macroscopic uniformity and microscopic dispersion within a relatively short period of time.
